Artsfest on Walnut Street, the largest fine arts festival in Southwest Missouri, is excited to join hundreds of other festivals by switching to a trusted online application process called Zapplication.org. Thirty-three years strong, Artsfest is a local tradition attracting over 20,000 attendees!

Art: The Original Social Media is the theme for Artsfest May 7-8, 2011 and will feature new social media elements, original art from over 140 artists from across the country, live performances of music, dance, and drama, food from some of Springfield’s favorite restaurants, and a kids’ hands-on area. Join us May 7 & 8, 2011, for Artsfest on Historic Walnut Street

Artsfest on Historic Walnut Street is celebrating 31 years of art, food, fun and spring-time! The 31th annual fine arts festival presented by CoxHealth will take place on May 7 & 8, 2011 on Historic Walnut Street and will feature over 140 artists from across the country.  Show hours are 10am-6pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday.

As the largest fine arts festival in Southwest Missouri, Artsfest on Historic Walnut Street attracts over 20,000 people each year to shop for original art, be entertained by dozens of performances, sample food from some of Springfield’s favorite restaurants, and keep kids entertained with hands-on activities.

Artsfest tickets are $3 in advance at area McDonald’s restaurants beginning April 12th and $5 at the gate. Children 5 and under are free. For more information, visit additional resources online for volunteer opportunities, an artist listing, and performance schedule. Or call 417-831-6200.
